Yahoo! Much Mahalo!

It was a great ride...thanks I had a blast!

I know this isn't goin to count, but I gotta share a great milestone (even if all the viewers were connected with IMremarkable-ha!) My hubpage score went up with over 21 views in just a couple of hours of posting...

Huge lesson learned...

Get someone with this type of professional experience to help you with the easy, straightforward stuff--don't waste your time learning everything...there is just so much that can be done! Listen, make a decision and move!

Tweetlater Feature

Possible joint venture or people to listen to. Will have to do better on my keyword choices, but wanted to share this tool with you...

HOPAd Builder from Clickbank

Used Clickbank's HopAdBuilder and created a tab ad...cool stuff

Couldn't figure how to paste the html code to blogspot. Will try later or put on hugpage...

View of my Blog and STUFF!

Here's a 4 minute video via JING...Gotta watch! HUGE MAHALO to Howie and all of you that made all of this possible! Connecticut or not...it was great!

Funny thing happen to me on the way home from my son's "heart" doctor appt. The car in front of me had Connecticut plates...hmmmmm. That's not very common here in Hawaii. So, it either means I'll be seeing you all in Connecticut or that's as close to Connecticut I'll get! hee, hee, heeeee! Whatever happens...its been a blast...thanks for the chance to make decisions and move! What a lesson!
(Son's doing fine-yes!)

Sure wish I had hit my mindset alot sooner maybe I could be sending you guys my first sale...yeah...it is, as it is!

JING--awesome stuff

Jing was invaluable to me! I luv it! I even used it in my normal blog as a video the visitor could listen to!

To Tweetlater or not

Played with tweetlater's automation, but I probably will not use this automation feature because it really doesn't rotate the tweets...does it randomly...see capture below. 4 of the same tweets. I did turn it off...thanks for your patience!

Product sales page

Reviewed the sales page of the product I selected to focus on and found some stuff I had learned so I sent an e-mail to the seller...not sure if she will appreciate, but it really showed ME that I had really learned a lot...feels pretty good! It sure is easier to edit a sales page than to create one from scratch!

Here's a capture of the e-mail!

Web 2.0-Hubpage UP!

Got up this morning and ready to get a page up on at least one of the Web 2.0 sites.

Worked on content for the hub page and clickbank account.

Here's a video capture of my hub page...low score, but its up. I haven't bookmarked or connected to my blogspot.

PPC Analysis-Interesting Find!

Prepared to determine how to "sell" the one product.

Found out some interesting cpc for keywords I would not have even considered...i think even more targeted than I was thinking...great! No matter if I do a PPC campaign...I will definitely be using the lesson plans preschool as a keyword group

PPC Analysis

So if I paid .75/click
it would cost me $45/sale
(60 x .75)

ugh...pretty costly when I'll be getting only $8 per sale.

On to the next option.
Web 2.0 webpage
Article marketing
PR
Video

Getting down to what's going to count...I see the light!

Quantcast for Possible Product

Checked out quantcast for some basic page info...3K average per month. Had some 10K monthly visits earlier in year???

Still can't figure out how IM journal entry figured out the cash flow analysis...how did you get conversion rate or % for people arriving on money page...just normal stats for conversion???

If that is so
Payout: 75% ($8)
Visitors to page which is the sales page: 3,000
Conversion rate 2%: 60
Gross income per month: 8x60=$480

Clickbank research-products found!

Now I know I have a viable market based on the number of sponsors already trying to sell products. I went looking for products to sell.

I took some of the sponsors that were coming up on the first page and went to see if they had any affiliate programs...none. I also was looking at what the competition was like...some very professional others not so.

Did find 1-2 sources for content, my article submissions and partnering.

From there I signed up at Clickbank and found 8 out of about 30 products that looked professional and promising. I checked pitch pages and products. One of the 8 does have a recurring payout due to a membership business model...that will be my number 1 focus.

Here's a shot of one that looks good

Here's their pitch page.

Looks good, They've got Bonuses to signing up and testimonials. This also opened an idea to the homeschooling market...

Previous research in google will also help to position with the proper keyword labels per product.

Back to google external keyword tool to see what a ppc campaign may bring me!

Finding My Niche--Restarting!

After much research and reviewing the training videos and the IM journel/blog I've chosen to go back and start new-again and open my mind to what is possible vs my preconceived idea of what should be.

I'm still trying to start with Childhood Education, but I've decided to go down the curriculum route.

Here's a video on Jing that shows me using the wonderwheel and then validating if there is a viable market.

Found a couple of things.
1. Market exist in degree programs
2. Market may exist in selling curriculum products
3. Market may exist selling children books

Videos & Articles in this area should hit the first page

Keyword Validation

Based on my restart...Keyword Search-Validation using the External Keyword Tool
Great insight in to the true keywords being used.

Here's a video on finding some of the better keywords based on a curriculum product vs a degree

I would like to look for products to sell...we'll see what I can find. Back to google...see you later!

Research....research....roadblock...decisions!

Since I'm so new at this...the ramp up level is phenomenal...

Here's what I've been up to

1. Blog

Made 2 blog post.

First, Developed a 5 min video presentation of Ways to communicate with kids. Started and linked that post to an other just published article and then presented the video as a beginning to a solution. Posted on blog.

Second, Found an article, linked to it and then posted my comments on my blog.

2. Research

Still learning how to use all the tools--ugh can't seem to work fast enough.

Claimed my blog on technorati.

Used Jing to develop/make my video for blog (its a 3-4 part video that I plan on using for free a "3-day "training" via autoresponder for opt-in bribe)

Visited Alexa and looked at a couple of authority sights that seem to keep coming up. Gave me a couple of ideas on where my "market" tends to hang out.

Checked out Quizilla, Wetpaint, Weebly, Zimbio---unreal! Looks like I'll stick to Hubpages & Squidoo. I'll send out a PRlog.org release once I get the pages/lenses up.

3. Monetize

Checked out my "partner" list...none have affiliate programs. Looked at Amazon as a fix to getting "paid" for referring to these partner's that I like, but don't have a program....

Unable to get an Amazon astore--ineligible for Hawaii.

Will check out clickbank to see if there's anything there for this market...so much easier to deal with internet marketers...stuff already in proper "form" vs having to develop it yourself or look for workarounds.

checked out Peerfly...looks like we have to have a track record to be part of the network??? Will recheck if I can't find anything elsewhere.

Wonderwheel & Google Research using Jing!

Finally listening/viewing the training videos.

Wow--What a day. I've been doing alot of research regarding my choosen niche--childhood education. I've used Jing to show you some of the Niche and keyword research to connect my passion about kids and teens with childhood education.

Now that I've used Jing...what a marketing tool...my mind is going crazy on the possibilities. I hope to post something on YouTube using this simple technique.

Here's a video of my wonderwheel and google experience.

http://tinyurl.com/imagkids1

I also visited technorati, quantcast and alexa to play and figure out what they actually give to help in my decision making.

I've taken alot of notes and there's alot of opportunity! Yahoo!

Remarkable--Day 1

Ok...couldn't wait for the plane ride to Connecticut--had to go to sleep last night.ugh!

The things that can be done are just mind-boggling. Here's some of the stuff I've accomplished.

1. Research:
a. Saw a video for my niche and didn't know what a Wiki was, so ended up viewing a video on Wiki's. Great stuff
b. I'm on a couple of lists for IM so, I read some good stuff from Steve Johnson on affiliate marketing. I also reviewed again, some of the tips, hints and action steps in your 36 Niche pdf
c. Looked for videos to post on my blog...will use on next posts to create value-added content
d. Got to listen to a couple of stuff from Dan Kennedy
Things to do:
1. Find other related blogs/sites to post and follow
2. Look for groups in twitter or facebook to follow/comment/etc
3. Review 36 niche pdf again!
4. Review Clickbank for possible stuff to sell on blog
5. Visit Technorati, Alexa and Quantsnet(?) to figure out what info it will provide me

2. Tools:
a. Created a new blog specific to the kid niche... http://IMAGkids.blogspot.com --inaugural blog post with vision and welcome.
b. Initialized the monetized capability on IMAGkids
Things to do:
1. update/connect blog to old website...focusedreality.com (that may take a while)
2. Put twitter link on blog
3. Connect paypal on blog...would like to sell a couple of plr stuff that applies

3. Marketing:
a. Posted tweet annoucing blog (on imagkids and my other account)
b. Bought plr to modify and sell on site/blog
c. Made a list of possible partners to see if they have affiliate programs, articles, etc
Things to do:
1. Post a video on blog and comment
2. Find articles to post on blog
3. Continue to twitter
4. Create "free" report
5. Create opt-in form
6. Comment on social networking groups about IMAGkids...
7. Create an audio
8. Create a 30 second video/movie on animoto...post on youtube and blog

4. Things I learned
a. Prioritize and take one thing at a time and complete--incomplete stuff gives you NO capability and just frustrates the crap out of me!
b. Complete an action with a tweet or social networking comment

Until...I wish you well!
